Fernando Moreno Lamus
Fernando Moreno Lamus
Chief Financial and Administration Officer
Weston,
Florida USA
Fernando was born and raised in Caracas Venezuela. He holds a Public Accountant and a Finance Master’s degrees. Married to Fany for more than 30 years now, both are proud parents of Carlos and Rodrigo, two young, independent, and warmhearted adults.
With more than 35 years of professional experience, Fernando has built up his career evolving the role of finance in the organization from its core (accounting and controls) through business insight and partnership to internal and external impact. He also had dedicated time and passion helping other finance (and non-finance) professionals to develop themselves from a technical and personal point of view.
Fernando began his career in PriceWaterhouse as external auditor, and from there had been progressively expanding his reach from local to international roles in different industries in companies such as Xerox, Honeywell, Microsoft and TDSYNNEX.
In 2023, Fernando had a moment to reflect on his career and he started to visualize himself dedicating time to the social sector. This is how he joined The Wellbeing Project in January 2024, with the objective of reinforcing and keep evolving the financial foundations of The Project.
He is an avid social tennis player (a passion that shares with Fany, Carlos and Rodrigo) that starts his day with the ritual of brewing a cup of coffee (just black). He enjoys cooking (nothing fancy) for family and friends, while sharing experiences about life.
