DESCRIPTION:Succession planning is one thing\, achieving the plan is another. In this webinar the Elders Council for Social Entrepreneurs will host a ‘fireside chat’ with DY Suharya\, an incredible social entrepreneur who has built an organisation and become a thought leader in her field. Having created her organisation\, Alzheimer’s Indonesia (ALZI)\, she will “always remain its founder” but she is keen to avoid ‘founders’ syndrome’ as she moves through her succession. DY will describe the practical steps she has already taken as she moves into the final stage of passing the baton. They’ll also discuss her passion for promoting succession and transition planning as a means of protecting the sustainability of the sector\, setting an example for the 20 associations and organisations she works with as Regional Director of Alzheimer’s Disease International (ADI).\n\nIt’s one not to miss! DESCRIPTION:Organized by Axum\, Kenya is hosting the next regional Hearth Summit in Africa! Hearth Summit Nairobi will offer 300 changemakers a transformative space to examine wellbeing through a systems change lens — discussing the symbiotic relationship of the systems and practices that impact wellbeing at the individual\, collective\, and planetary levels. \nThe Summit will encourage changemakers to reflect critically on wellbeing through a uniquely Kenyan lens: how do local political\, economic\, judicial\, and social structures enable or limit wellbeing? How do activities and rituals — from dietary choices to daily routines to cultural traditions to leadership styles — do the same? These conversations\, united under a shared celebration of Kenyan culture\, will invite changemakers to lay a roadmap for collective action for the wellbeing movement in Kenya.
