Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction for Health Care Profes- sionals: Results From a Randomized Trial. International Journal of Stress Management, 12(2), 164-176. Shapiro, S.L., et al. (2005).

The results suggest an 8-week MBSR intervention may be effective in reducing stress and increasing quality of life and self-compassion
